Athletics Day

Last Friday I woke up and I knew it Athletics Day so I grabbed my red clothes. I am in Te Aurere!

At school we had to get into our t shirts and shorts to show our house colour.The first thing we did was sprinting. I was in the first line I was running so hard that I came second.Then the second line went and the lines keep going. When all the lines were finished we did the finals. When I went I was so nervous inside I just couldn't  wait I said in my head. BANG there it went, I was going so fast but then ‘Oh no why’ I said . I lost but I did I didn't come last.

After a while we changed to shot put . When we got there I really wanted to come first, second or third. We went to sit down and a teacher told us the instructions. What she said is if you think that you know how to play shot put please go with the boys. If you think you need more help stay where you are . We went into a line The first person 2,3,4 went then it came to me .I tried so hard but I just wasn't quite there yet.

I really enjoyed athletics day but it was hard.  What I enjoyed the most was having a  sack bag race.   I think you should join TeAurere house because we work so hard.                                                                                                    

How to make a road.

My dream.

I was out in the forest I heard a sound be hide me and I look and it was a plane. I scream as loudly as a beer.Then my friend’s came and tried to push me to the side It’s like I was dreaming.

I close my eye's and blocked my ears I ran like I've never ran before.The tree's broke the leaves went down I hear the crashing of the tree’s!

I hear the wend be hide me then I wake.I knew I was out of my head it was just a dream.

Job Application

In class our own money. I want applying to be a class cleaner so then I can earn money.

Picking Peas

Today my group as been leaning about Picking Peas. We have learnt a lot about Picking Peas. In the story there are twins who come from New Zealand but are living in Lahaul. They help their friend to pick peas.Here is how the seed's get from Lahaul to Delhi.

My holidays

Guess what? In the holidays from 12:30-5:00 I got to go to lollipop land! I was so hot I was hot like a volcano.

There`s a big slide it so fun! It was my cousin's birthday we had so much! There were yum things to eat my yummiest thing was the cake it was sweet and yummy.I went with my family we played tag.

At lollipop land they were cool stuff.We could play on a spinning thing it go around and around it was exciting and I was really extremely happy!!. It was the best and Wonderful time.Then on Monday it was my aunt's birthday but we just went to her house.

Next we went to the pools and the park.We Surprised her with kisses and food and a big birthday there were a lot of presents for her the biggest present was a TV.

She said she had so much fun .She went to my house to sleep. because my cousins were at my aunts house.    

At the end of the birthday we all slept at her house I felt happy and exceeding for the next time we have a birthday.

In Reading we read a story called A Tyreful of Air. It was about John Dunlop 
who invented the first tyre with air inside it. This is my design to make
 a skateboard better.

We have been reading a story called ‘Hinaki’. A hinaki is a trap used to catch eels in a stream. From the text I found as many blends as I could and put them in the table below.  I have highlighted where the blend is found in the word.

My Reading group was reading a story called Beach Frogs. I found out that when you try to sneak up to the frogs they will hide. Here is a presentation about what I learnt about Frogs.

in my weekend we celebrate Emmanuel birthday we had lots of yam food and we had some cake it was so yum and we had some BBQ.

it was fun we had balloons some of them popped but it was so cool he is 10  years old all of us had lot of fun and we went to the park it was cool when we went to the park to  and we all had fun there to.

it was time to go home we did not have dinner because we were fol.

Ten Wakas for Christmas

Waylan

My  brother Waylan is special to  me.   He’s  the  little  one in our family  and sometimes  I  teach  him  how  to  swim  at  the  pools.  He’s  good  at  it. We like to play on the tramp it is so cool but sometimes it is and we have to go inside. he is great and  fun and he goes to pt england school he is 7 years old. he likes fried rice and chips.

When I arrived at school for Fiafia I played with my  friends. I was feeling very nervous. I really like my group it was so cool. I thought I performed good too. I am in the Hawaiian hula girls group.

I like the hip hop group because they had so much good songs and they had good dancing too. I enjoyed my dance  because you can do your dance too if you try to do your best at what you are doing in your group .

I felt good because after that so good performance it was just in me. I am hoping next time I will be in the hip hop group.
